YOUD, Gary peacefully passed away on 6 March 2026, aged 64 years. Cherished son to Jean and the late Gordon. Dearly loved brother of Helen and brother-in-law to Andrew. A much loved uncle, a dear friend to many, and something of a ladies’ man.
Gary will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Gary’s Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at Chester Crematorium at 2.40 p.m. Gary’s family ask that those who come to celebrate his life wear a splash of Evertonian Blue.
Family flowers only please; however, a donation in aid of Dementia UK would be gratefully received.

I am so sad to hear about Gary’s passing. I spoke regularly with you Gary and loved our daily calls, this man supported me in BMS and helped get my first order. For which I will forever be grateful. He was so supportive of me. I loved listening to his stories.
I only knew you for 18 months but you have impacted me in a way like no other. You suffered no fools and was kind to the very last. Gentlemen and scholar tremendous engineer and one of the best Salesman I have ever known. Rest in peace Gary I will miss your calls, our long Conversations and your wit. But most of all i will miss you.

Gaz was a fanatical Thunderbird fan and everything else by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson – Cpt Scarlet etc. Years ago he would go to the conventions in Blackpool, and I queued up for hours to get us a signed autobiography from Gerry.
