Derek HAWTHORNE, ‘Degsy’ peacefully passed away with his daughter Claire by his side on 14th June 2025, aged 91 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Kathy. Cherished Dad to Gary, Robin, Ian, Stuart and Claire. Father-in-law to Jayne, Mandy, Margie and Alison. Proud Grandad to ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, with another on the way.
Degsy, a treasured member of Men in Sheds Ellesmere Port for over 10 years, will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral Service take place on Monday 14th July 2025 at Chester Crematorium at 11:20 a.m.
Family flowers only please, however a donation in aid of Men in Sheds, Ellesmere Port would be gratefully received.
