In August, we had the honor—and the heartache—of conducting the funeral for someone incredibly dear to us: our own Aunty Lily.
As funeral directors, we walk alongside many families in their moments of loss, but this time it was our family gathered in the chapel, our hands guiding the service, our hearts breaking and cherishing all at once.
Aunty Lily was more than family—she was laughter around the table, warmth in every embrace, and a reminder of what it means to love unconditionally. Preparing her farewell with the same care we give to all families was deeply meaningful but also profoundly personal.
Her service was not just a goodbye — it was a celebration of her life, her faith, and the countless ways she shaped who we are today. In every detail, from the flowers to the words spoken, we tried to capture her spirit and honor her memory the way she deserved.
This experience reminded us once again why we do what we do. Every farewell is sacred. Every life deserves to be honored with love. For Aunty Lily, it was both our duty and our privilege.
Rest peacefully, Aunty Lily. You will always be in our hearts. ❤️
