Paul Lloyd "Livewire"
Paul Lloyd sadly passed away on 18th September 2026, aged 57 years.
Much loved Dad to Frazer and Luca. Cherished son of Sandra and Brian. Adored brother to Gaynor, Wayne and Kevin, and brother-in-law to Gary and Louise. A much-loved grandad, uncle and friend. Paul was an inspiration to many.
Known to many as Livewire, Paul was best known for his incredible talent and achievements in boxing. A member of Vauxhall Motors Amateur Boxing Club, Paul enjoyed a successful boxing career; winning the 1990 Amateur Boxers Association of England, before going on to compete professionally at world level, winning various titles and accolades along the way including British, European and Commonwealth Bantamweight titles.
Paul will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Paul’s Funeral Service will take place on Friday 30th October 2026 at St Thomas’ Church, Ellesmere Port at 2:00 p.m., followed by private committal.
Family flowers only please; however, donations in loving memory of Paul would be gratefully received.
