Dearly loved husband of Colette. Reunited with his loving parents, Peter and Ruby Melia. Cherished dad to Tom and Matty. Dear brother to Jan and the late Lynn.
Mark, a devoted Chester FC supporter, will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Mark’s family kindly ask those attending the funeral to wear something blue in his memory.
Funeral service to take place on Friday 17th October 2025 at Our Lady Star of the Sea at 1:30 p.m., followed by cremation at Chester Crematorium.
Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Mark, if desired, would be gratefully received for the British Heart Foundation.

I was genuinely lucky to have Mark as a work colleague and friend.
He was truly one of life’s ‘good-uns’ he will be sadly missed all whom he crossed paths with.
His loyalty to Chester FC was a Mark (Pun intended !) Of the chap. Sure he will having a chat over ‘The Seals’ with Pete and Harry Mc.
When meeting him for coffee the love and pride he had for Colette, Tom & Matty was never hidden

This is so sad, I worked with Mark at BT Chester, we had lots of laughs often relating to his daily updates on the lives of his pigeons.
