JONES, Joan peacefully passed away at home on 25th September 2025, aged 86 years following a battle with cancer. Dearly loved wife of Brian. Beloved mother of Paul and Gary, mother-in-law of Rachel. Adored grandmother of Xavier, Auguste and Gabriel.
Cherished sister-in-law of Patricia, Tony, Sandra and Barry.
Joan was the former mayoress of Ellesmere Port & Neston, and worked at the Littlewoods Football Pools and a second career at the Astbury Lodge Care Home for many years. She will be greatly missed by all her family, friends and former colleagues.
Funeral Service to be held on Thursday 16th October 2025 at Chester Crematorium at 10:40 a.m.
No flowers please, however a donation in aid of The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Gordon Lane, Backford, Chester CH2 4DG, would be appreciated.
