It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our gorgeous Mary Hughes, who passed away peacefully on 31st August 2026, aged 90, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary, a dearly loved Mum to Michael and Jacqueline, a truly treasured mother-in-law to Jayne, and an utterly adored Nan to Sophie, Callum, Luke and Chloe.
Her warmth, wit, love, kindness and generosity touched so many lives. She will be missed beyond words by all her family and her many dear friends, but the wonderful memories she gave us will remain in our hearts forever and ever.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Wednesday 30th September 2026 at Chester Crematorium at 2:40 p.m.
Forever loved, forever adored and always remembered.
