HARRIS, Margaret Josephine ‘Margy’ peacefully passed away on 5th of March 2026, aged 87 years, reunited with her beloved husband Eddie. Dearly loved Mum to Shirley, Rob, Lyn and Ian. Cherished mother-in-law to Carole, Andy and Joanna. Treasured Granma to 16 Grandchildren and Great-Granma to nine.

Margy will be greatly missed and always remembered by all her family and friends and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Lighting up every room with her bright smile and sense of fun. She was a friend to everyone and was the most kind and warm-hearted woman you could ever wish to meet.

Funeral service to be held on Thursday the 9th of April 2026 at the Church of Saint Mary of the Angels in Hooton at 1 pm followed by burial at Overpool Cemetery and a gathering at the Whitby Club. Donations in loving memory of Margy would be gratefully received for the church of Saint Mary of the Angels in Hooton.
