John Thomas Duffy
John passed away peacefully at home on 14th September 2026, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Glenys, adored Dad of John, Susan, Joanne, Michael and the late Kerry Marie. Beloved brother, uncle, grandad and great grandad.
John grew up in Ellesmere Port, working at Shell as a supervisor on the chemicals plant. His successful career led to him travelling to countries like Saudi Arabia and America.
First and foremost John was a family man, and always a true gentleman. He had a wonderful smile and a cheeky sense of humour, which will remain a cherished memory for all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday 6th October 2026 at Our Lady Star of the Sea at 10 a.m., followed by burial at Blacon Cemetery .
Family flowers only please however, a donation in memory of John would be gratefully received in aid of Dementia UK.
