CARTER, Jean Mabel ‘Jean” peacefully passed away at Derwent Lodge on 4 March 2026, aged 87 years. A much loved Mum, Nan, Great Nan, Aunty, Sister and Friend.
Jean, who spent many years living in Bedford Court, Bedford Road, will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral Service on Friday 10th April 2026 at Landican South Chapel at 2:30 p.m. During her service, Jean’s family invite you to bring a rose to place on her coffin.
Family flowers only please however, a donation in aid of Sight would be gratefully received.

Met Jean a few times in Clatterbridge Hospital and had the pleasure of looking after her on Bluebell Ward and knowing her as my best mate Helen's 'Nanna Jean'. what a character !!!!
