Father Mark Roy James Turner unexpectedly passed away on 21st February 2025, aged 45 years.
Dearly loved Husband of Sarah. Beloved Father of James. Adored son of Yvonne, Roy and Ian. Other close family members include Cheryl, Lyn, Lea, Ian, Tasha, Rachael, Mike, Hayley, Michael, Emily, Hollie, Craig, Kirsty and a much loved ‘cheeky’ uncle to many.
Father Mark was the much loved Vicar of St. Paul’s Church, Hooton touching the hearts and souls of his parish and the further community of Ellesmere Port, Chester and Wirral. Father Mark was an inspirational teacher at Woodchurch High and Birkenhead School where he was also the School Chaplain.
He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and parish.
Funeral Service and burial to be held on Friday 21st March 2025 at St. Paul’s Church at 12 noon. Guests are asked to wear traditional black with an item of any colour of the rainbow of their choice or uniform with medals.
Family flowers only please, however a donation in aid of The Public Living Room at St. Paul’s, Christian Aid and the Sea Cadets would be gratefully received.
