BARBER, Muriel peacefully passed away at Hospice of the Good Shepherd on her birthday, 26th June 2023, aged 78 years. Dearly loved Wife of Nigel. Adored Mother of Neil, Joanne, Jennifer and the late Jonathan Peter, Mother-in-law of Amanda, Jonathan, Carl.
Beloved Nana of Charlie, Ben, Zachary, Eleanor, Amy, Neve and Freya.
Loved Sister of Eunice, Leslie, Leonard, Sylvia and the late Cyril, Margaret and Brenda. Cherished Sister-in-law and Aunt.
Muriel was the first Care Manager at Claire House Children’s Hospice when it opened in 1998. She spent her nursing career caring for children.
Muriel will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral Service on Monday 17th July 2023 at St. Oswald’s Church, Backford at 2 p.m., followed by a private family Committal.
