My deepest condolences with the loss of your loving husband and father. I know Les from his time in Uden, when we had a lot of fun with “those crazy blokes from across the channel”. A time that I will never forget and a smile that I will never forget. May he Rest In Peace. I wish you lots of strength and courage in this difficult time.
Arnold
My deepest sympathy to Liz, Lauren, Imogen and all your family. Thinking of you all. 🙏
Remembering a really top bloke today. We had some great times back in the 80’s. The last time we met was at another funeral. When you walked into the room that night, the whole mood changed. You had that effect on people. You were always able to see the bright side and your optimism affected those around you. Always positive, always able to make those around you smile. It was a true privilege to have known you. You are certainly remembered fondly in Uden. Thanks for the memories my friend. Rest in peace.
It was the greatest Honour when Liz asked myself & other old school friends to carry Les’s casket into the crematorium.
The speeches from Liz at St Paul’s & from Paul at the Crematorium where beautiful in there delivery & content. Poignant, personal and a lovely reflection on the life of one of the nicest people I had the good fortune to call a friend.
Les’s smile, laugh & good humour will live with me forever.
Hopefully the love shown to him by so many will help Liz & all the family deal with there loss in the future.
I spent some memorable times with Les & shared countless laughs, I will remember him always xxxxxxx
