My Beloved Grandad. He fought everything tooth and nail throughout his life. It’s surreal he is no longer with us, but his suffering has ended. He will never be forgotten and I will love him forever and always. The best man I’ve ever met and if I can be half of the man that he was, I’ll be happy. As would he. Love you so much my mate xxx

It’s very hard to put into words how sad this is. We worked together for seven years, travelling often, sharing long days, conversations, and so many laughs. You always had a story to tell and a way of making even the toughest days lighter with your humour.

Those trips, the jokes, and the moments we shared will stay with me forever. You will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.

Rest in peace my mate. You’ll always be remembered.

We only got to know Dave briefly as my son Ross is marrying Michelle this year. Dave was the most welcoming, kind and genuine man. He had a warm, gentle demeanour and made us feel like part of the family. Our hearts go out to Elaine and the family at this very sad time.
Lots of love from Alison and Euan Hamilton. Xx❤️

    Dave

Today wasn’t the reunion I wanted, nor the way I wanted to say my final goodbyes.

    I miss you mate.

I hope we meet again somewhere far away, making memories and more stories to tell, like the good old days.

Thank you for being a part of my life.

I will never forget you mate.
    Rest in peace Jarvo.

    Dad,

It feels like your away with work, but I know your not, as my phone is quiet. I miss the random calls to talk about nothing really, and I would love them again.

You were my hero, my inspiration and the first love of my life.

I hope your having a good time where ever you are with all that you loved who went before you. May all our pets have been there to greet you with waggy tails and big wet kisses.

Know that there will never be a day I wont miss you or a day I dont think of you.

Love you Dad, I’ll see you again, that I promise xx
