CALDWELL, Brian peacefully passed away at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd on 27th June 2019, aged 84 years. Adored Husband of Beryl. Dear Dad of Keith, Father-in-law to Katrin. Granddad to Liam and Kieran.
Brian will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral Service and Committal to take place on Thursday 4th July at 3.20pm at Chester Crematorium.
Family flowers only please, however a donation in aid of Clatterbridge Hospital would be gratefully received.

Hello my name is Les Aston and Brian was one of my heroes of the all conquering Ellesmere Port team of the late 50s early 60s.
Little did I realise then that I would become his understudy for a couple of years 64/5/6 .He was unbelievably helpful and supportive of me especially when I was given the odd game in the first team.
I only met him once since our time together at EPTFc …at a cross country event at a sports centre in Runcorn where I was working.
Unfortunately I’ve only just heard of his death and wanted to pass on my condolences to the family
He was a great athlete but more importantly a great guy.
