On Sunday, we attended Oscar Phillips’ 18th Birthday Charity Event. We were proud to have been part of such an important day, £2201.55 was raised, 171 people attended to support Oscars family, and to raise funds for the Oscar Phillips Foundation. It really was a testament to the strength of Oscar’s Mum Carmel.
Here are a few words from Oscar’s Mum.
“Yesterday we celebrated Oscar’s 18th birthday it was an amazing emotional day and evening, supported by so many friends and family. Can’t thank you all enough for supporting the charity which will prevent another family from living through what we do every day. I hope we made Oscar proud and singing happy birthday together with 171 people brought tears to my eyes.
So many stories and pictures we have to catch up on it truly was an amazing day. I would also like to thank those who donated gifts for the raffle, the Holiday Inn for having us, Spencer for sharing his amazing talent of magic, Lori Holland for getting the party going with her amazing voice and the DJ who kept everyone dancing once Lori got them up.
